About Us

The Bean Creek Valley History Center, Inc.,  is a registered 501c3 non-profit.  Your monetary donations to the BCVHC are tax deductible.


The Beaverson Archival Room is a space to house our collection of photos, stories, manuscripts, yearbooks, etc., of the Bean Creek Valley...such as graduation programs and ledgers from the Fayette Normal University as well as local family collections.  We manage and access our collection through the use of the searchable Past Perfect computer program.  


The Bean Creek Valley is comprised of Fulton & Williams Counties in Ohio and Hillsdale & Lenawee Counties in Michigan.
The BCVHC is operated solely by local volunteers.  


This is " Your" History Center...not a private club.  We welcome and encourage all who are interested in local history to become a volunteer, do genealogical research on site or just stop in to chat about local history and enjoy a cup of coffee.
